For this mixing study included the following yellow tube colors: cadmium yellow lemon, cadmium yellow light, and cadmium yellow dark. I included the following blue tube colors: ultramarine blue, cobalt blue, Schevenings blue, and Caribbean blue. The mixes were 25% yellow and 75% blue then lightened with white.
All of the resulting colors are lovely in their own way. Most of them are blue greens and some are greyed blue greens. Schevenings blue yields the most “green” colors while Caribbean blue yields some nice turquoise colors. The green gray colors result from ultramarine blue and cobalt blue.
